How do I know which surface is right for my driveway?

We’ll advise based on how you use it (cars/vans), your slope/levels, drainage, and budget. If a material isn’t suitable for your site, we’ll tell you straight.

How soon can you start?

It depends on the size of the job and current bookings. We’ll give you a realistic start window after the site visit.

Do I need planning permission for a driveway?

Often no—but rules can apply to front gardens, especially if you’re laying more than 5m² of non-permeable surfacing without drainage to a permeable area. We’ll flag anything that looks like it needs attention during the quote.

How long does a driveway installation take?

Small jobs can be completed quickly; larger or more complex builds take longer. After we measure up, we’ll give you a clear timeframe.

Will you remove the old driveway and waste?

Yes, if that’s part of the agreed scope. It’s included in the quote so you know exactly what’s happening.

Do you handle drainage and water run-off?

Yes. We check levels and water run-off during the site visit and recommend the right fix to stop puddles and prevent water sitting against the house or garage. Where needed, we can install drainage channels, adjust falls/levels, and ensure the finished surface complies with practical drainage requirements for your property.

Can you give a quote from photos?

Often we can give a rough range from photos and postcode. For an exact quote, we usually need a quick site visit to measure and check levels.

When do I pay?

Payment terms are agreed upfront. Typically it’s on completion or staged for larger jobs. Never vague, always clear.

Do you require a deposit?

Sometimes, depending on the job and materials booked in. If we take a deposit, we’ll put it in writing and keep it reasonable.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Some stages can’t be done properly in heavy rain or freezing conditions. If weather affects the schedule, we’ll tell you early and rebook sensibly.

Do you offer a guarantee?
